By NATION REPORTERTRADING licences for about 59 bars and restaurants in Lusaka have been revoked for defying the Presidential directive to close the facilities in the wake of Covid-19.Local Government minister, Charles Banda warned that Government would not hesitate to revoke trading licences of those who abrogate the law.Dr Banda said local authorities were mandated to ensure the Presidential directives were adhere to by citizens.He said in as much as compliance was improving, those who abrogated the directive to close bars, gyms and restaurants to operate on take-away basis would have their trading licences revoked.Dr Banda said there were still a few places where people were ignoring the guidelines against Covid-19.
