POLICE have confirmed that three people have died in a road traffic accident along the Great North Road near Kapiri Mposhi district.Central province police commissioner, Chola Katanga who confirmed incident in an interview, said the fatal accident occurred after a driver of a Scorpion bus lost control due to over speeding.Mr Katanga said two people died on spot, while the other died at Kapiri Mposhi district hospital the victims were rushed.The police boss said about 20 people sustained injuries and were rushed to Kapiri Mposhi district hospital and urban clinic.He said the accident happened around 16:00 hours in Mishikishi area about 15 metres away from Kapiri Mposhi town.By press time, the police boss could not ascertain the number of passengers on the bus.
