ZAMBIA’S rising Mixed Martial Arts star, Miracle Chipito will tomorrow make her maiden appearance on the Professional Fighters League (PFL) Africa stage, taking on Miracle Andrew of Nigeria in Benin.
This will be the first time a Zambian athlete is making it onto the PFL, a global powerhouse in MMA and the fastest-growing sports league world-wide.
The battle of Miracles, also coded as Zambia vs Nigeria will be live on SuperSport.
“This is not just another fight, Miracle Chipito’s journey reflects the reality of many of our athletes: limited resources, minimal exposure, and constant obstacles, yet she has continued to rise through discipline, sacrifice, and belief,” Miracle’s coach Benjamin Bush said.
Bush said the straw weight showdown bout between the two Miracles represent the culmination of years of struggle, resilience and commitment to representing Zambia with pride and dignity on an international platform.
Irrespective of the outcome of the duel, the fight will enhance Miracle’s credentials.
She has an impeccable International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) record having won a silver medal at the 2025 IMMAF World Championships held from October 20 to October 26, 2025 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Miracle was ranked number one flyweight in the World by IMMAF following her performance where she showcased outstanding technical ability and resilience, securing Zambia’s highest finish at the tournament.
She won a gold medal at the 2025 IMMAF Africa Championships (Luanda, Angola) in which Miracle dominated her division and cemented her position as Africa’s top female amateur fighter. Miracle also won a silver medal at the 2024 IMMAF World Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan where she brought Zambia its first-ever silver medal at a World Championship level in MMA.
The award winning Miracle grabbed a silver medal at the 2024 IMMAF Africa Championships in Windhoek, Namibia and established herself as one of the most consistent athletes on the continent, with four consecutive podium finishes in two years.
Her other career highlights include being a member of the Zambia national MMA Team since its inception.
Miracle is known for her commitment to representing Zambia with pride and discipline, both inside and outside the cage.
