ZESCO Ndola Girls have set their sights on nothing less than victory as they take on Malawi’s Ntopwa FC in their final Group A clash of the 2025 Women’s CAF Champions League COSAFA qualifiers.
William Zulu, the coach said the Ndola outfit was determined to secure progression to the knockout phase, saying that only an outright win would guarantee their success.
“We will do our best to get the win because this game will determine whether we advance or not,” Zulu said.
Despite Ntopwa’s poor run in the tournament so far, the coach warned against complacency, noting that the Malawian side was still capable of messing up ZESCO’s determination.
“We know they are yet to win, but that makes them dangerous. We have to avoid defeat and give everything on the pitch to ensure we qualify,” he said.
Zulu further assured fans that the team was focused on producing a positive result and building momentum to defend their domestic crown.
