Dear Editor,
THE fear of failure is called Kakorrhaphiaphobia which our governing UPND has successfully grown in Zambia.
At both political and economic fronts, I think the new dawn has not done well and the situation is pointing to a worsening scenario.
For me, it would appear our UPND was only interested in forming government for personal gain hence the rising number of corruption cases. It is obvious UPND had no governing blueprint and this has left majority of Zambians basking in humiliating poverty.
Pangs of hunger are always on people’s lips as they cannot remember when they last laughed because they cannot afford to buy their staple food.
UPND has truly only managed to create an angry nation due to starvation haunting the citizens.
All its 2021 campaign promises have all but turned into shadows of yesterday. Kakorrhaphiaphobia is all we are smelling in the nation and only time will tell.
GREGORY NKANDU,
Kitwe.
