THE Tonse Alliance has declared its opposition to any proposal by the government to delimitate bigger constituencies ahead of the 2026 general elections.
Recently, President Hakainde Hichilema announced that the government plans to delimitate bigger constituencies as part of preparations for the 2026 general elections.
However, during a press briefing in Lusaka yesterday, Tonse Alliance spokesperson Sean Tembo made it clear that the alliance would not accept any amendments to the constitution before the upcoming elections.
