ZAMBIA can proactively strengthen its disaster preparedness and response mechanisms, minimising the impact of crises and shocks, particularly caused by climate change by leveraging accurate and timely data, says United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Country Representative, Seth Broekman.
Zambia has experienced recurrent climate-related shocks, including droughts, floods, and disease outbreaks such as cholera outbreak.
