TRANSPORTING detainees to far-flung areas where they would be denied bond for failing to secure sureties is illegal and affront to human rights, the Human Rights Commission (HRC) has said.
Dr. Pamela Sambo, the Human Rights Commission chairperson is wondering how people who were transported to areas where they did not have relatives, friends or those who knew them could get police bond.
