Government launched the Agriculture strategic plan for the 2024-2026 aimed at enhancing growth of the agriculture sector
SAFADA executive director Boyd Moobwe has observed in the past, government had not been consistent with the implementation of such plans as result of the lack of clear roadmap. He said the benefit of having such strategic plan had not been able to trickle down to the farmers.
Mr Moobwe has since urged Government to ensure that the narrative was changed as the strategic plans were not yielding the intended results.
He says it was time Government ensured that the strategic plans were practical and beneficial to the agriculture sector.
