ECONOMIST Trevor Hambayi has said there is need to find other avenues to fund the 2024 national budget with the current low revenue base.

Mr Hambayi explained that with the cost in essential goods and services, the national budget is expected to be huge hence the need for Government to find another avenue to raise finances.
Meanwhile, Mr. Hambayi urged Government to enhance productivity in the mining sector to enhance its revenue base.
Mr. Hambayi said the government was not getting much needed revenue from mining as result of the low productivity in the sector.
