ZAMBIA Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZACCI) says the private sector plays a pivotal role in driving the country’s economy in a positive direction.

ZACCI representative Geoffrey Sakulanda notes that the private sector is an indispensable engine for progress and prosperity as the unwavering entrepreneurship empowerment is the backbone to the economy.
He said at the G-100 national economic summit that the public private partnership can enhance infrastructure development by harnessing renewable energy resources.
And G-100 summit Chief Executive Officer Mutinta Chilufya says there is need to use home-grown solutions to improve social economic growth in various communities.
Ms. Chilufya also says the Constituency Development Fund has also contributed positively to youths in communities by providing financial literacy and skills development.
She also highlights that it is important for key stakeholders to partner with the G-100 summit by showing confidence in its outlined plans for economic growth and development.
