According to sources, Kansanshi are determined to sign Were to strengthen their squad ahead of the second round set to resume next weekend.
Kansanshi Dynamos fin- ished the first round of the Super League on 12th position with 20 points from five wins, five draws and seven losses.
Meanwhile, Kitwe rivals Nk- ana FC and Power Dynamos are chasing after the signature of Buildcon striker Brian Mwi- la. Mwila impressed with four goals in the first round of the Super League to attract inter- ests from the Kitwe giants.

According to sources at Power Dynamos, Mwila and Were are deemed as a perfect replacement for Alex Ngonga who joined rival club Nkana FC last season.
