DON’T shift the blame, but admit that you are to blame for the mess in the MMD, the Evangelical Youth Alliance (EYA) has told Nevers Mumba. EYA president, Moses Lungu, said it was wrong for Dr.Mumba to insinuate that the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) party was relentlessly working to destroy the MMD. He was responding to
Dr. Mumba’s recent statement was that the PF had been trying to destroy the MMD because it was still a threat. Dr. Mumba said when he featured on ZNBC Sunday Interview that if MMD was not a threat, PF would have not been destroying his party.
Reverend Lungu said in an interview that the MMD had been on a self-destructive path because of poor leadership exhibited by Dr. Mumba. He charged that prominent members were leaving MMD to join other political parties.
Rev Lungu said there was no MMD that Zambians could even talk about because its top leaders had failed to coordinate the members. He was responding to Dr. Mumba’s Statement that the PF had been trying to destroy the MMD because it was still a threat.
