Waloba ilya uma Kambwili
Dear Editor,
Kambwili and Musenge are very, very dull. No wonder Musenge lost to an independent, umulandu wa bupuba! Who would want a foul-mouthed president in State House! If Kambwili can insult President Lungu publicly now, what would happen if he became president? He would be insulting everybody, his ministers, PSs, civil servants, poor people etc! Waloba ilya uma Kambwili! You are not presidential material.

Lusaka town drowning
Dear Editor,
Where is our Lusaka Mayor Wilson Kalumba when his town is drowning? The issue of poor drainage system or is it lack of it has been on our mouths for years yet nothing has been done to correct the situation. Imagine even our cemeteries are now bearing the brunt of floods with some tombstones being washed away at Chingwere cemetery.

Review tax policy
Dear Editor,
I also thought that the taxation policy in Zambia is not good. The tax in Zambia is too narrow therefore making the citizens who pay, pay a lot. But if they broaden it, it will make them generate a lot of revenue but with minimal charging of citizens.

Setup mukula processing plant
Dear Editor,
We also need mukula processing plant in Zambia. Whatever the Chinese are making out of mukula can be manufactured locally and then exported after value addition. This will create many jobs and boost VAT to treasury. This applies to the many minerals mined in Zambia. Value addition should not be attributed to agriculture products only but also the minerals. When you want to industrialize, you look at the raw materials first and what machines to use in the processes to the end product. We can use our central position to export to our neighboring countries to grow our jobs and GDP.

Tax management disappointing
Dear Editor,
It took an outsider to note that our tax system is not good as if we don’t have leaders with degrees serving in government for advising and decision making purposes? Shame on the advisory bodies. We need good management at Government level to stop artificially choking our young economy.
