Open letter to the Ministry of General Education Permanent Secretary
Editor,
Dear Honourable, are you full aware that there are teachers who have worked for over a year without being put on payroll in your Ministry? New recruits were put on payroll before even reporting yet those who have serviced the nation for over a year are sidelined. This development is very unfortunate in your Ministry.

Put record straight
Editor,
Just a correction on people who inhabit Chief Mwenichifungwe. We have Tumbukas, Hengas and Nyikas as well as Tambo speaking people in Kamimbe, Chilumbi and in Chitete/Chapwe Lambya is spoken in Chief Mweniwisi and Namwanga is in Nakonde also part of Isoka. So there is no Namwanga or Lambya in Chief Mwenichifungwe,

Kalaba not convincing us
Editor,
What the former Foreign Minister Kalaba said in the Mast newspaper that Zambians are not given contracts in our country are reasons for him to stepdown as minister is not enough for us. Zambian contractors cannot work like the way Chinese do. Zambian contractors are failures because they either abandon work or don’t even show up once they receive a down payment. Most of them fail to work or rather complete their work on time. They are total failures. Mr. Kalaba your novice is going no where. E.K. Masaiti

Irresponsible Kambwili
Editor,
I have said it before and will say it again that, ‘mutuka mfumu, tatuka imo (he who insults the King, insults all) surely, is it in order for a person of Kambwili’s caliber to utter words like : Akamuntu ukonda kwati nika mosquito kuti wakaputa no mwela kayaponeno ko) in reference to our Republican President. Can Zambians please wake up and once again listen to the words of PF Founding father when he said (Most of my MPs are useless). Now for those supporting this nonsense, do you expect ECL to keep the same useless MPs? Are you upto the good of this our mother Zambia? Please, this is the time to know which useless MPs Mr. Sata referred to.

Concourt house case must be probed
Editor,
Concourt house construction in Ibex cannot pass without comment. This is purely state capture or indeed capture of the Judiciary which means defeating the cause of natural justice. This is a very serious case bordering on highest levels of corruption in the judiciary. We therefore call for the powers that be I the land to arrest this situation by investigating and exposing this scandalous act whether true of not before the country is in total confusion. Look at the speed they are running at to the Concourt. We really smell a rat for this could be a sure way for the cartel’s resurrection.

Hon Mutati, why are you not paying for our project?
Editor,
This is the question for Hon. Felix Mutati, Hon. Kampyongo and Hon. Chitotela. Why are you not paying for Police academy project in Luanshya where we have used our money to start the project?
Patrick Kaliminwa, Luanshya

Street vendors resurface
Editor,
The majority of Lusaka residents have appreciated the work that have been going on with regards to cleaning the capital Lusaka but vendors have come back in another form. They are using bags in which they are hiding their items and selling them. And if they show and you refuse to buy from them they can start insulting you. Please we call upon our beloved Republican President to issue a statement concerning vendors leave the streets because the council cannot manage. Please our President do not keep quite because in due course people will appreciate what you are doing. Look at how clean Rwanda is. Chipasha, Lusaka
