Nigerian funnyman Nkem Owuoh popularly known as Ukwa is expected to arrive in the country at midnight tonight for the highly-publicised comedy show set for Mulungushi International Conference Centre on 1st September.
Confirming the development in an interview, organizing committee member and comedian Derrick Chalo Khondowe aka Dangerous Joburg said everything is moving in line with the plan and that Ukwa will be in Zambia today.
“ We are very happy that our sponsors and partners have worked very hard to see this event reach this far. Ukwa arrives on Monday(today) at midnight . We are going to welcome him and make sure he feels at home,” Khondowe said.
He announced that Ukwa will be engaged in a number of activities before the main event on Friday night.
“Our local comedians and participants to this show are also set and working towards a good show. We will communicate some of the things and activities Ukwa will be engaged in as we count down to the main show on Friday,” added Khondowe.
Amongst the local artistes to perform at Mulungushi will be Bob Nkosha, Collins the President Zulu, Shikw Mwisho, Dorika, Bright Sinkala and Dangerous Joburg himself.
