It is unbelievable that this could be happening in our nation. I am talking about the increasing number of nolles and acquittals in our courts. Have the courts too fallen into the hands of the almighty cartel because the judgements are shocking. I smell a rat. I think the courts are up to embarrassing President Lungu. Can the Chief Justice move in and stop the rot before it is too late? Imagine GBM being acquitted over that assault case which even a Grade 7 would have secured a conviction. It is not making any sense at all.
