Under-20 midfielder Enock Mwepu has inked a five-year deal with Austrian side Liefering following his brilliant performance at the FIFA under-20 World Cup in South Korea.
Mwepu, 19, confirmed on his Facebook account that he had officially left NAPSA Stars for Liefering.
“I would like to officially say that I have left NAPSA Stars to join Austrian side FC Liefering where I will be teaming up with my brother Patson Daka,” he said.
He said he was determined to make an impact at the club.
“I will work hard to make an impact at the club. I am happy to be here,” he said.
Mwepu thanked his parent club Kafue Celtics for the help rendered to him which shaped his career.
Liefering confirmed on their Website the signing of the Zambian enterprising midfielder who was on lone at Napsa.
Mwepu played a notable role in aiding Zambia to the quarter-finals of the World Cup.
