Eden University Women’s Super League champions ZESCO Ndola Girls have confirmed the signing of defender Esther Muchinga on a two-year permanent deal.
Muchinga, who joins as a free agent, parted ways with ZANACO Ladies last month following the expiry of her contract.
“We’re thrilled to announce the signing of 24-year-old defender Esther Muchinga from ZANACO on a free transfer. She joins us on a two-year permanent contract. Last season, Esther played an impressive 28 games for her former club, showcasing her skills and experience. We’re excited to have her on board and contribute to the team’s success,” read a statement from the club.
She becomes the second player to be officially unveiled by ZESCO Ndola Girls following the arrival of Copper Queens goalkeeper Hazel Nali.
The Ndola-based side is strengthening its squad in preparation for the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League | COSAFA Qualifiers.
Meanwhile, the club is expected to confirm the acquisition of Abigail Munko
