THREE student unions in Zambia have backed President Hakainde Hichilema’s proposed constitutional amendments ahead of the 2026 general elections, urging the government to ensure an inclusive process that represents all citizens, especially young people.
The University of Zambia Students Union (UNZASU), the Copperbelt University Students Union (COBUSU), and the Levy Mwanawasa Students Union (LEMUSU) announced their support during a media briefing at the University of Zambia (UNZA) Main Campus in Lusaka yesterday.
