THE Judicial Service Commission has advertised 20 positions in the High Court and Court of Appeal respectively.
In an advertisement placed in one of the daily newspapers, the Commission stated that the applicants shall be responsible for discharging functions in accordance with the principles embedded in Article 118 (2) of the Constitution.
“Justice shall be done to all, without discrimination, justice shall not be delayed and adequate compensation shall be awarded, where payable,” it read in part.
The advertisement further stated that alternative forms of dispute resolution, including traditional dispute mechanisms shall be promoted.
“Justice shall be administered without undue regard to procedural technicalities and the values and principles of the Constitution shall be protected and promoted,” it read.
