THE Ministry of Education has officially concluded the recruitment of 4,200 teachers, a step aimed at addressing the teacher-pupil ratio in Zambian schools and improving the quality of education in the country.
In a press briefing, yesterday, Minister of Education Mr. Douglas Syakalima announced the successful completion of the recruitment process. “I am elated to announce that the Teaching Service Commission, working with my Ministry, has concluded the recruitment of 4,200 teachers for the year 2024,” Mr Syakalima stated.
