A CATHOLIC priest, Father Andrew Chewe Mukosa, has condemned Zesco’s decision to raise electricity tariffs while failing to fulfil its promise of providing citizens with at least seven hours of power daily, saying it is criminal to load-shed citizens after the adjustment.
In an interview, Fr Mukosa criticised the company’s broken commitment, which was made during the tariff increase last year.
“When Zesco increased tariffs, they assured citizens of seven hours of power,” said Fr Mukosa.
