ZAMBIA’S Copper Queens showcased their dominance, securing a 2-0 victory over Malawi’s Scotchers in the first of two FIFA international friendlies at the REIZ Arena (formerly Woodlands Stadium) in Lusaka yesterday.
The match resumed where it had left off from Saturday, after heavy rains forced its abandonment in the 21st minute.
The Copper Queens, already leading 1-0 thanks to a goal from Aveil Chitundu, picked up the action in the 21st minute and continued their momentum.
