MUTOTWE Kafwaya, the PF Lunte Member of Parliament says UPND should know that the destruction of the opposition was wrong and part of the gross human rights violations and the visit of the UN Special Rapporteur Irene Khan was a dent on the country’s democracy.
Mr Kafwaya said in an interview yesterday that UPND’s obsession with the idea of killing the opposition had led it to abuse some human rights, as leaders of the former ruling party had been arrested and detained on trumped up charges.
