SEAN Tembo says there was nothing sinister in calling on members of the opposition to defend themselves when attacked by cadres and sympathisers of the governing UPND.
And Mr Tembo, the Patriots for Economic Progress president has accused the UPND government of sponsoring its cadres to unleash violence on those with divergent views and providing checks and balances.
