THE has appealed to political parties to consider coming up with a proportionate representation system of adoption ahead of the 2026 general election to accommodate more women and youths to participate in the country’s electoral system.
Ms Getrude Imenda, the UPND deputy secretary general says the ruling party was ready to work with the opposition political parties for the formulation of legislation that would promote proportionate representation in Parliament so that more women and youths could be able to participate in the governance of the country.
