THE Zambia Air Force (ZAF) Commander, Lieutenant General Oscar Nyoni has expressed happiness with his team in Mbala for cultivating over 80 hectares in Munyazi area.

Lt-Gen Nyoni says his vision is to see the air force acquire huge pieces of land for farming.
He adds that he desires to see the air men and women effectively contribute to national food security.
Lt-Gen Nyoni said this when he paid a courtesy call on the Mbala District Commissioner, Ms Annie Paul, at her office.
The ZAF commander is in Mbala to visit the Samora Machel Air Base as part of his familiarisation tour of Northern Province following his appointment in December last year.
He explained that his visit will also provide a platform for officers to look at their past achievements and failures so that they can serve the nation better.
Lt-Gen Nyoni emphasised the need for ZAF officers to remain steadfast in their pursuit of excellence.
Ms Paul, thanked officers for their individual and collective contributions towards the farm, which was acquired to enhance agricultural production.
