ESMAZ president Victor Kalesha, in an interview with Millennium TV news said Government should engage local companies so that they work together because certain policies and decisions put in place at the indaba are not in line with what is required by stakeholders.
Mr. Kalesha added that sidelining other companies especially the artisanal small-scale miners will hinder the growth of local mining companies.
He said the government should emulate other countries by ensuring that all companies, including artisanal small-scale miners attend such forums if the African Mining vision is to be implemented and actualised.
