In an interview, Mr. Chisanga said despite facing challenges, Zambia’s economy has performed well this year.
He said that essential economic factors and consistent policy frameworks have been maintained, contributing to the breakthrough of the economy.
Mr. Chisanga noted that despite uncontrollable circumstances, Zambia has experienced a 4.2 percent GDP growth.
He observed that while agriculture and mining sectors faced challenges, non-mining and non-agriculture sectors have thrived, contributing significantly to overall economic growth.
He said the economy has a solid balance, especially as the resolution of debt-related issues is halfway to completion.
