Mr Mulenga said the country will no longer be struggling with fertiliser because the new dawn administration is on top of things.
He the country will stop importing both Urea and D-compound fertiliser because it will now be produced locally.
He said the agriculture production will no longer be the same once the country start producing both D-compound and Urea.
Mr Mulenga said this year the country will only import Urea as it is secure with D-compound.
And Mr Mulenga said government has distributed D-compound fertiliser to all districts.
He said all the districts are ready to start giving the commodity to beneficiaries under the Farming Input Support Programme.
He said district commissioners need to ensure that the process of distributing to beneficiaries is started so that farmers can start preparing for the farming season.
