Mr Kang’ombe says, ZCCM-IH should reveal whether or not they are forgoing the money they are owed by Vedanta.
He said it was in best interest of all parties to know how the over US$10 million bill at Copperbelt Energy corporation will be dismantled.
Mr Kang’ombe said it was only by revealing the agreement that is when the miners and suppliers at KCM will be comfortable.
He said Zambians would continue speculating if the government did not take a bold decision to inform the nation what was agreed with Vedanta for them to be allowed to take over KCM.
Speaking during the Millennium Tv Sunday programme dubbed “The Platform, the lawmaker said government can only earn trust from Zambians when it was doing deals that were of the interest of the nation. Mr Kang’ombe said from the time the announcement of Vedanta taking over the mine was made, only few pledges had been revealed to Zambians.
