The Ministry of Community Development and social services has announced that it will next year put all social cash Transfer beneficiaries on NHIMA scheme.
CSPR executive Director Faides Tembatemba says the move is an indication that Zambia is moving in the right direction towards implementing the comprehensive Social protection program.
Ms Tembatemba says the medical services in Zambia are quiet expensive and that most of the vulnerable people cannot afford medical services from the money they get from the Social cash transfer as a result that would go a long way in implementing the comprehensive social protection program.
