CENTRAL Province permanent secretary Milner Mwanakampwe has challenged graduates of skills training centers in the province to establish their own businesses and create employment for themselves and for others.

Ngungu youth Resource Centre in kabwe on last week which graduated over 243 students with certificates in skills such as tailoring, catering, home management.
Mr Mwanakapww who officiated at the at the graduation ceremony stated that possibilities were endless for people with skills, therefore encouraging them to establish business as opposed to waiting for white collar jobs.
He said students could establish business among themselves, explained that students graduating in agriculture could be supplying graduates in catering and those with in carpentry should supply Government with desks with produce creating a win – win situation.
Mr Munakampwe urged graduates to explore funding opportunities in provisions such as the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for capital.
He thanked the government under and Hakainde Hichilema for the increased funding under CDF, he therefore urged graduates to take advantage of the funds to set up successful businesses.
“The UPND new dawn government has continued to build on gains made in the education sector over the years to equip youths with lifelong and equitable quality education, the government is placing equal emphasis on building practical skills, entrepreneurship and qualifications required by industries,” he said.
