SACCORD Executive Director Boniface Chembe says the enactment of the bills into law has been long overdue hence the need to expedite the process.
Mr. Chembe says the POA and the ATI are key fundamental bills which if enacted into law will help enhance the country’s democracy.
He says it is therefore important that the executive quickly acts and brings the bills before parliament for debates.
He has appealed to the government through the Ministry of Justice to ensure that the bills are presented before parliament as soon as possible as the wait has been long overdue.
