Speaking in an interview with Millennium TV News, ZITHS Chairperson Mulemwa Moongwa states that this gesture is aimed at increasing the number of travelers as well as investment in the hospitality and tourism sectors.
Ms. Moongwa narrates that Zambians have shown very keen interest to participate in the two sectors as compared to the past where most assets were being owned by foreign business players.
She further adds that most assets owned by Zambians are generational and now the time has come for the new owners within family setups to invest in these assets by way of contributing to the tourism and hospitality sector.
