TRADE Kings Group has encouraged Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) to take advantage of the manufacturing industry as an engine for job creation and economic transformation.

Group Head of Communication and Corporate Affairs, Bridget Kambobe, said the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FCMG) manufacturer has put in place deliberate measures to contribute to socio-economic development.
Ms Kambobe said at a media briefing in Lusaka that this being done by investing in the community, including the Trade Kings Foundation.
She said Trade Kings Group was promoting inclusive economic transformation by working closely with SMEs.
She indicated that the group would continue working with various stakeholders in the business sector, especially SMEs to contribute to socio-economic development.
Ms Kambobe also pledged Trade Kings’ commitment to partnering with the media to disseminate the message of inclusivity in the business sector.
“An inclusive economy is an economic system that includes everyone regardless of age, educational attainment and disability status,” she said.
Ms Kambobe encouraged SMEs to take advantage of the theme of this year’s Agricultural and Commercial Show, to positively contribute to socio- economic development.
The theme of the 95th Agricultural and Commercial Show is Inclusive Economic Transformation.
