According to the Zambia Statistics Agency, a tray has been trading between K90 and K100 in some areas.
But the Poultry Association of Zambia (PAZ) Executive Director Dominic Chanda explained that unlike in the recent past, the prices of the commodity have stabilised.
Mr Chanda however said despite the prices of eggs stabilising, there is still demand for the commodity.
He said due to the weather condition which affected production, there is high demand for the commodity.
