Mr Nsensema said, it is worrisome that Zambians are barely surviving as a result of the shortage of mealie-meal coupled with the high price of the commodity. He has since urged the united party for national development (UPND) administration to stop paying lip service and to make mealie-meal available to citizens at affordable prices. Mr Nsensema said, Zambians massively voted for the UPND to resolve such challenges. He warned that, citizens will have no option but to remove the new dawn government from office in 2026 due to lack of seriousness to resolve critical issues such as the shortage of mealie-meal.
“As Economic Front party we are very much disappointed that the shortage of mealie meal has continued in some parts of the country and people are still queuing up for the staple food and prices have continued to raise, making it difficult for people to survive.
