Mtolo Phiri, the Minister of Agriculture, lied on the Floor of the House in Parliament that Zambia was food secure when in fact not, which has resulted in acute shortages of mealie-meal forcing the government to begin the importation of Genetically Modified mealie-meal, Brian Mundubile has said.
