NORTH-Western Province Patriotic Front Youth Chairman Amnion Hara has predicted that the former ruling party is bouncing back to power in 2026.
Addressing hundreds of youths who gathered at the PF office in Solwezi after the match past in commemoration of the Youth Day on Sunday Mr Hara said the party in the province is still intact despite being in opposition.
“In 2026, tulebwelelapo!! Pantu PF ichiliko kaili PF intu yakosa,”(In 2026, we are returning into government because the PF is still strong) said Mr Hara as youths chanted in unison.

He encouraged the youth and the general party membership to remain united and continue recruiting new members.
Meanwhile, during the match past, a fracas ensued when UPND youths provoked the peaceful PF who outnumbered them in full view of the Provincial Minister Robert Lihefu and his entourage which included the UPND provincial chairperson and Government Chief Whip Stafford Mulusa, the Permanent Secretary Col Grandson Katambi and his DPS Naomi Tetamashimba.
But the PF youths restrained themselves despite being continuously provoked.
