The two petitioners Isaac Mwanza and Maurice Makalu have questioned the appointment of judges in the constitutional court, appointment of Deputy President and judges of the constitutional court, which they allege is unconstitutional.
The matter in which the appointment of 20 Judges by President Hakainde Hichilema has been challenged will now be heard in the supreme court on 27th March 2023
