FIVE times champions of the Super League, Kabwe Warriors dropped into the relegation Zone on the MTN/FAZ Super League table after recording their second consecutive defeat following a 1-0 beating by NAPSA Stars in a Week-9 fixture at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
Warriors who have only managed three points from three draws in the last five games were stunned by Burundian International Enock Sabumukama who scored a second half long range volley to give NAPSA Stars the crucial win in Lusaka.
Defeat to NAPSA Stars frastrated Kabwe Warriors head gaffer George Lwandamina who snubbed the TV Crew from Super Sport for a post match interview.
After the final whistle, Warriors dropped to 16th on the Super League table with eight points while the Pensioners moved to fourth on the league table with 15 points, five points behind defending Champions Red Arrows who stunned Nchanga Rangers 3-1 in a lunch time kick offf at Heroes Stadium.
The Airmen opened a two points lead at the summit of the Super League table thanks to a brace from Joseph Phiri and a lone goal from Conlyde Luchanga.
