PRESIDENT Hakinde Hichilema has terminated the contract of Dr Sakwiba Musiwa as Permanent Secretary in the ministry of Mines and Mineral Development.
According to a statement from State House the termination was pursuant to Articles 92(I), 92(2)(e) and 270 of the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia.
The President has also appointed Mr Jonas Mulongoti as permanent secretary in the Ministry of Commerce while Ms Himba Cheelo has been appointed as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Energy and Mr Mooya Lumamba as Mines and Mineral Development PS.
Meanwhile the head of state has transferred Ministry of Commerce, Trade and industry Permanent Secretary Chawe Chuulu to Cabinet Office as permanent secretary special duties.
