PF DISSOLVES LUSAKA PROVINCIAL EXECUTIVE
By PETER SICHALI and KALOBWE BWALYA
THE Patriotic Front central committee has dissolved the Lusaka Province executive.
Acting PF secretary-general Nickson Chilangwa said the central committee dissolved the Lusaka Province committee because they led to the elections loss in the province.
Mr Chilangwa also accused the dissolved provincial committee of insulting the former head of State and party president, Edgar Lungu.
He also said the PF suspended Mr Kennedy Kamba, who was the provincial chairman for gross misconduct and fanning division in the party.
Mr Chilangwa said the party would not allow acts of indiscipline to continue and condemned acts by some Lusaka provincial officials backing a certain individual to be adopted for the Kabwata parliamentary seat.
Mr Chilangwa said the party would soon set up an interim Lusaka Province committee ahead of the Kabwata by-election.
