WE are shocked by the baseless and false allegations by The Mast and others, claiming that an edition of the paper, published by the Mast newspaper is the work of the Patriotic Front.
An edition of The Mast dated Thursday, 29th July 2021 carrying a story headlined: “HH A “SATANIST” – US INTELLIGENCE REPORT” was published and distributed.
We wish to categorically state that the Patriotic Front was not involved in any way in the publication or distribution of the said paper and the allegations against us are therefore malicious and baseless.
The Mast must resolve its internal issues and editorial decisions without involving the Patriotic Front.
We have also noted that other reports indicate that the publication of this edition may be the work of the paper itself but was hastily withdrawn for unknown reasons.
It is therefore preposterous and foolhardy for the Mast to involve the Patriotic Front party in their internal matters.
We urge the public to dismiss these allegations with the contempt they deserve.
