YOUTHS in Lusaka have expressed happiness over the deportation of Nigerian pastor Seer 1 and urged other pastors and prophets that are conducting themselves in a way that does align with the word of God to learn from his expulsion.
Family Tree in Zambia general overseer Clever Mambalataka said that there were a lot of issues that surrounded some people calling themselves pastors and prophets in Zambia.
Mr Mambalakata said that the deportation of Seer 1 would surely serve as a warning to other men and women of God that were not conducting themselves in line with the Bible.
“It is sad that there are a lot of fake people that are calling themselves pastors and prophets and have infiltrated the church today,” he said
He said it was unfortunate that some people had resorted to the use of magic in the name of miracles as a way of attracting people to their churches.
He also urged Zambians to study the word of God because then no one would take advantage of them.
“When people become vested in the word of God, they will know what a pastor can do and what they cannot do to them and they will also understand the concept of timing and how everything works out through God,” he said
Mr Mambalakata commended the Immigration Department and the Ministry of Religious Affairs for having deported the Nigerian prophet.
“The Ministry of Religious Affairs however has a huge task on their shoulders of protecting the citizenry from people that are calling themselves men and women of God when in fact not,” he said.
He called on the ministry to give guidance to ensure sanity in churches because there were too many evil people claiming to be servants of God.
He said many of them were impacting demons in their church members through charms and magic.
