UN representative’s call developmental
Editor,
The call by the UN resident representative is purely developmental and does not call for obstruction of justice in Zambia. Dialogue is cardinal in any development process in that all citizens are key players because Zambia is bigger than one person. For anything to succeed, it requires total discipline from stakeholders politically, economically and individually if we are to achieve and attain the seventh development plan. It is not time for politicking but time for serious business. We are advising all those whose appetite is insulting on private radio stations to tone down.

Congratulations ZANACO FC
Editor,
Allow me space in your paper to congratulate ZANACO Football Club for their splendid performance in the CAF clubs competition. At the pace the team is running, the cup is surely on its way to Lusaka, don’t relax. As for ZESCO United, serious miracles need to be performed urgently.

Why are sex workers not arrested?
Editor,
What is the difference between selling sex to the Zambian side and fishing on the Zimbabwean side? It is illegal to fish on the Zimbabwean side and more than 40 Zambians have so far been arrested. What about those foreign nationals selling sex at only k10, how many have been arrested? Would Mr. Kampyongo answer my question?

Nevers Mumba’s insincerity
Editor,
TDr. Nevers Mumba is a man who fell from grace because Zambians pray. As for Edgar, he is humble, listens to people and is a hard working President. Nevers, you are not close to Edgar’s blessing from God, hence his ascendance to power which eluded you. Why should the three Church mother bodies only comprise Rev. Matale, Mususu and Archbishop Mpundu? Why do you always support wrong people?

HH can be pardoned
Editor,
Indeed, HH can be pardoned but not at this stage as this would amount to interference with the due process of law and the President has no such powers, hence he can only pardon him in an event that HH is convicted as did Dr Kaunda and Chiluba to General Christone Tembo and Captain Solo respectively.

Free yourselves from mental slavery
Editor,
President Edgar Lungu is right when he says that no one but ourselves can build or stagnant the development of our country and no outsider would be blamed for failure to attain the goals set in the Seventh National Development Plan. Social media will take you nowhere, instead it will just make you duller and forever a complainant. Just look at the time you use to gossip, if only you utilized it in a productive way. It is not true that by trading lies to the outside world that would only affect those in power but also the future generations which is equally being morally eroded. Free yourselves from mental slavery.

Mafinga residents cry for their MP
Editor,
Our Mafinga member of Parliament in Muchinga Province has never visited Mafinga since the 11th August 2016 elections. Please, our MP electorates want to meet with you. Isoka Muyombe road started in 2013 but up to now, the works have stalled, all the machines have been taken out of Mafinga and residents are wondering what is happening.
