The suspicion of Ndola and Kabwe Councils over land administration is not a surprise to us for it has just been an academic exercise and normal way of doing business. Mr. Nyirenda was appointed as an administrator when Ndola Council was suspended along with Kitwe and Livingstone Council. I believe he did a good report. During the time of Kampyongo as Local Government Minister, there were reports which I believe are still existent. The PF government, why has corruption become so rampant in land allocation. Those pronouncements will not solve the problem because of lack of punitive measures to culprits. Mr. Mwale, please be proactive in handling local authority issues. Your presence is not effective and you have no vision for the local authority. Kindly take note that if local authorities are alive to service delivery, this country can do wonders. At the moment, most Councils are not performing due to the fact that most councilors and a few selfish individuals are just looking at filling their tummy. Can President Edgar Lungu make some changes to this Ministry?
