Zambian hip hop star Mwila Musonda on Friday night featured on Coke Studio Africa TV series’ episode 9 on QTV. This is a show that seeks to inspire fresh new sounds from Africa and give featured artists wider exposure, while enabling greater interaction, collaboration and cooperation that speaks to a wider audience of music enthusiasts across genres, styles and eras.
Each week Coke Studio has brought together artists from across Africa to come up with original material, and all within 48 hours. That means they have to write, produce and perform their hits in two days.
